The digitalization of commerce is in full swing. New technologies such as AI and Voice are constantly reshaping the customers’ behavior and it is more than ever crucial to analyze the different interests and to closely monitor the overall development to proactively prepare for new trends. But as we say: Challenge? Accepted! We’ve expanded our tech leadership and are very happy to welcome Jan van Randenborgh as new Technical Director. The graduate business information specialist will primarily attend to denkwerk’s e-commerce team and scale up our know-how concerning Spryker, Shopware, Intershop and Oxid. And we are sure that it’s a pretty good deal!
Jan has almost two decades of professional experience and outstanding expertise in the field of electronic commerce: from hands-on programming and development of innovative shop systems to strategic and technical consulting for renowned companies and brands. During his studies already, he co-founded Kuborgh, a digital agency specialized for e-commerce and platforms, which he led for 15 years to great success. If the name sounds familiar to you – that’s exactly right. Kuborgh’s client base also consisted of some major players amongst the digital agencies.
Before joining our team in April 2019, Jan worked as Chief E-Commerce Officer at Interlutions where he was responsible for setting up, shaping and leading the agency’s e-commerce team. Furthermore, he is vice chairman of the BVDW’s (Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft e.V.) focus group Digital Commerce. As you can imagine, this concentrated knowledge leaves nothing to be desired for us.
