Test- and Release Manager (m/f/d)

Cologne / Technology

You are the one we miss!

  • We are looking for you with a passion for software development and motivation to join our team to implement testing activities and releases for a wide range of digital projects.
  • You will skillfully take over the planning, execution and evaluation of the test activities
You select the right test methods and tools depending on the project and requirements and support the development team in producing high-quality software
  • Whether manual or automated testing, you feel at home in both worlds and know when which method should be used
  • You are familiar with agile testing methods and procedures
  • You regularly coordinate with the cross-departmental Scrum teams, the product owners and stakeholders, and ensure that appropriate measures and timely releases can be derived after discussing the quality goals, status quos and test results
  • The planning and execution of coordinated test workshops for manual acceptance tests with variable test resources are just as much a part of the planning of release cycles as the creation of test plans and scenarios
  • Test frameworks such as AppNg, JUnit, Selenium and Cucumber are not unknown to you
  • You will be responsible for the coordination of releases and final acceptance in the test system, including release readiness reviews, business-go/no-go reviews and milestone reviews
  • Together with the test developers, you will further develop the test automation platform in order to continuously improve all quality processes
  • You have previous experience in planning software releases of complex corporate websites or e-commerce platforms and automated testing processes
  • You are a strong communicator and are familiar with Jira, Confluence and Office
  • ISTQB certifications are welcome
  • If you still have experience in requirements analysis, this would be a plus
  • You have very good German and English skills
