Red Dot Award 2020 goes to Bikespector

Bikespector - that is artificial intelligence in application. The platform for prediction for shared mobility services relies on machine learning - and has received the Bikespector at the Red Dot Award Brands & Communications. denkwerk received the denkwerk award in the category Interface & User Experience Design in the sub category User Interface.

Bikespector is part of a research project in which we were able to learn a lot about machine learning and artificial intelligence with little effort? The object of research under consideration - shared mobility - was made possible primarily through open API connections of some service providers. Above all, however, the fact that trips to the numerous mobility systems cannot be planned in advance: Is the desired car or rental bike available on a certain day and at a certain location? This is where Bikespector comes in. We implemented the forecast with the help of data sets provided by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of its Open Data Initiative, thus achieving very high probabilities with our AI.

We are happy about the award in the subcategory User Interface because the implementation of the usability of the content generated in the AI should be as user-friendly and simple as possible.
